Life is never dull in a large family, even on regular days. Yesterday I pulled out the camera to catch some of the everyday moments. I wonder if any of them will look similar to what happens at your house?
This is classic. I stole away to the bathroom for a moment and not a minute later little fingers appeared under the edge of the door. Mason had found Mommy and wanted in to join the fun. In case you were wondering, no, there really are no moments alone during the day with seven children. I don’t know why I bother shutting the bathroom door some days...
Makayla started a new craft today. A friend passed along a friendship bracelet kit today when her family came to visit. Makayla tried it out this afternoon.
Joseph played Legos after his chores were done. He loves Legos and is always making something with them.
Remember how my children do the laundry? Here is Emma pulling dry clothes out and taking them upstairs to put away. Makayla had started the load earlier in the day.
While Emma was doing laundry in the pantry Caleb decided to investigate the shelves. He was sure he wanted to try a raw onion – so we let him. He was not impressed.
Here are pictures of dinner prep and cooking. Makayla was in charge tonight and made the boys’ favorite: Pancakes. What was I doing while Makayla made dinner? Giving Mason a piggy back ride! He loved the birds-eye-view of all the cooking.
Here are the three younger boys enjoying their pancakes and milk. You can’t get much better than whole wheat pancakes with peanut butter and syrup!
When was the last time you took pictures of the everyday moments?

Beautiful children and mommy. I think the last time I took pictures of everyday moments was during the Christmas festivities.
